Noumenalia So this is different. An easily overlooked but truly inspired gem in a time of inane retro dross and reactionary socio-political art fads without true avant-garde merit. Distel has instantly leaped from being a peculiar flavour of "Galakthorroe-light" to this next-level monolithic synth stomping. Though elemental in a way, there really isn't anything quite like it and Wapens may yet turn out to be a humble point of reference for synth wave to come. Or at least a modern classic.
